Next Threads Teens - Yellow Brick Road Quilt
A vibrant, beginner?friendly quilting series designed just for teens. In this four?session class, students will create their own Yellow Brick Road quilt - a fun, fast, and confidence?building pattern perfect for young makers. Teens will learn how to choose coordinating fabrics, safely use a rotary cutter, sew accurate seams, assemble blocks, and piece a full quilt top. Each class builds skills step?by?step, encouraging creativity, independence, and pride in their finished work.
Class Highlights

- Supportive, teen?centered instruction in a fun, social environment
- Students complete a small Yellow Brick Road quilt top by the end of the series
Supplies Needed
- 6 Fat Quarters
- 1 3/8 yards of fabric for the border and binding
- 3 yards of fabric for the backing
- Basic notions (rotary cutter, pins, clips)
- Edge-to-edge quilting once the quilt is put together (based on size of the quilt and charged by the square inch)

| Instructor Bio: | Sherry is a Florida-certified teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing by trade, but a quilter for over a decade. She is especially fond of teaching the next generation the beauty of sewing and she LOVES paper piecing. Her latest interest is machine and hand embroidery. |
