Next Threads Fashion Series - Kids - Apron
In this class kids will learn practical sewing techniques while creating a custom apron. The project focuses on building confidence with pattern layout cutting and assembly. Participants will practice adding a functional pocket and attaching straps securely while maintaining clean seams and even topstitching. The session also covers pressing for professional results and finishing edges for durability. Each student will complete a personalized apron and gain skills that can be applied to future garment and home projects.

| Materials Included: | fabric, thread, instruction, use of Baby Lock Brilliant sewing machines, cutting table and irons. |
| Requirements: | Participants are encouraged to bring their own notions (sewing kit) (scissors, rotary cutter, pins, clips, etc.) |

With a degree in Fashion Design from Miami Fashion Institute and a career rooted in costume design and garment construction for the Florida Grand Opera, Broadway, and Miami City Ballet, she has a true passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of makers.
